| Abstract: | By means of 13C NMR spectroscopy a distinction is made between the two stereoisomeric 2,6-dimethyl-tricyclo 5.2.1.02,6]dec-3-enes 1 and 5. This corrects the previously proposed structure of the natural hydrocarbon “albene”. |
