| Abstract: | X-Ray crystallography showed that the heterocyclic ring of 1a and 1d is a chair with the substituents intermediate between axial and equatorial (all cis) and diequatorial-monoaxial (two cis and one trans) positions, respectively. Infrared N S absorption in solid and solution led to tentative stereochemieal assignments for 1a-d. |
