| Abstract: | Depending on the conditions, the self-condensation of 3-methylcyclohex-2-enones produces one or more of several possible dimeric products, including tricyclo[7,3.1,02.7] tridecane derivatives. Some general structural and spectral features of this class of compounds are discussed, and a simplified method of naming its members is proposed. |
