Indole derivatives 138. Synthesis of some new sulfur-containing derivatives of indole

2-Ethoxycarbonyl-5-(p-nitrophenylthio)indole and the corresponding acid were obtained by the E. Fischer reaction. Decarboxylation of the acid gave 5-(p-nitrophenylthio)indole.
