| Abstract: | The palladium(0)-catalyzed Suzuki cross-coupling reaction of the bis(triflate) of 1,3-dihydroxythioxanthone afforded various aryl-substituted thioxanthones. The reactions proceeded with very good site-selectivity in favour of position 3, due to steric reasons. |
