| Abstract: | A series of chemical conversions of 3,3,5-trichloro-2-hydroxytetrahydropyran has been carried proceeding both with ring opening and with its retention. Alkylation, acylation, and sulfonylation of the hydroxyl group of the initial ring have been carried out. |
