| 摘 要： | This paper provides a brief analysis of English suffixes.First,make a classification of the English noun suffixes etymologically;then,obtain the frequencies of each English noun suffixes in sub-corpus FR88 and WSJ88,and last draw a conclusion based on the statistics.That is from the word origins we can see its influences on English vocabulary.
