Alfven Scaling of Magnetic Pulse Penetration in a Theta Pinch

Results of a code describing magnetic-field penetration into a plasma with theta-pinch geometry is presented. Classical coilisional effects can describe the Alfven velocity scaling but fail to account for observed penetration times and neutral density scaling.
