Charge transfer in H H and H He collisions at intermediate and high energies using an asymptotic two state atomic expansion method
Abstract:An asymptotic two-state atomic expansion method has been introduced. The method is applied to calculate electron capture cross sections for H H and H He collisions. It is found that our calculated capture cross sections show good agreement with the boundary-corrected first Born approximation or Coulomb-Born approximation calculations, and with experimental data at intermediate and high energies. In slightly low energy, our method still gives reliable capture cross sections.
