As we are getting more and more depending on the computer network, we are bringing forward more and more demands on the reliability and stability of it. The object of the author is to design and implement a software system which can monitor the network devices and can report it to the network administrator timely and automatically when any device has failure. And the system can also provide a means to examine the status information of network devices.
