| Abstract: | A series of 1,3‐dithiol‐2‐one derivatives via [4 + 2] Diels–Alder cycloaddition reaction of 4,5‐bis(dibromomethyl)‐1,3‐dithiol‐2‐one with vinyl‐substituted compounds have been synthesized. Structures of all the newly synthesized compounds are well supported by spectral data such as 1H‐NMR, MS, and elemental analysis. The structures of IVf and IVg have been analyzed by X‐ray crystallography. |
