| 摘 要： | Optically active 3-butylphtalide of high enantiomeric excesses (up to 93% e.e.) was synthesized from the reduction of o-pentanoylbenzoic ester with borane using B-methyloxyoxazaborolidine (1b) as the chiral catalyst.
