Abstract:A method for atomic fluorescence spectrometric determination of trace bismuth in geological samples by hydride generation in slurry was proposed. The effect of various factors, such as acid media, the particle size of sample and the concentration of slurry etc., on hydride generation was investigated. This method is simple and rapid and has been applied to the determination of trace bismuth in GSD standard samples with satisfaction.
