| Abstract: | The author gives a new proof of Attouch-Brezis$'$ theorem concerned with theduality for the sum of convex functions in general Banach spaces, andgives also some sufficient conditions for the difference oftwo closed convex sets to be closed in reflexive Banach spaces. |
