| Abstract: | The general solutions of the differential equation of motion for the underdamped oscillation of the coil of galvanometer are obtained.The attenuation coefficient from the general solution is examined and the function for the external critical resistance R c of galvanometer is derived.Accordingly,two methods for measuring the R c are given. |
