| Abstract: | Peptide-chemistry methods (symmetric anhydrides and activated esters) and the Mannich reaction were used to prepare various conjugates of amino acids with 7,8,9,10-tetrahydrobenzo[c]chromen-6-one in which the amino acids are bound to the coumarin by the C- or N-terminus. |
