Photon echo “decay” in LaF3 : Pr3+ as a modulation process |

| Abstract: | The variation of photon echo intensity in LaF3 : Pr3+ measured as a function of pulse separation for short times is shown to be a consequence of echo modulation as caused by isolated non-interacting Pr3+ ions. |
