| Abstract: | Summary The reaction of mesityldimethylsilyl ethers with CF3SO3H yields selectively mesitylene. The resulting Si-trifluormethanesulfonates were reacted witht-BuLi to give the correspondingt-BuMe2Si-ethers. |
