| Abstract: | [reaction: see text] A single biomimetic cascade sequence featuring intermolecular followed by intramolecular cyclizations allowed the biomimetic synthesis of nitraramine from simple C5-lysine-derived metabolites. In the course of the study, the structure of epinitraramine was also revisited. |
