Calorimeters for absorbed dose standard of electron beam radiation processing

Abstract:Graphite and water calorimeters which are intended to be used as standard dosimeters for radiation processing of electron beams are studied at NIM. The result of dose comparison between the two calorimeters is satisfactory. Moreover, the dose comparison between NIM calorimeters and NIM chemical liquid dosimeters is performed and the agreement is within 0.5%. Uncertainties in dose measurement with the two calorimeters are estimated.
