| Abstract: | When substituted phenyl methyl ketoximes were treated with low valent titanium (TiCl 4/Sm) the deoximation reaction giving ketones in high yields took place, whereas in the case of diaryl ketoximes, diaryl ketones, amines or Schiff bases were formed. |
