| Abstract: | Mesoporous hybrid silica bearing zwitterionic species were synthesized via template-directed hydrolysis-polycondensation reactions from zwitterionic ammonium sulfonate precursors. The formation of the nanostructured phases involves specific precursor-template interactions. The obtained materials are efficient heterogeneous catalysts in Biginelli reactions. |
