| Abstract: | The author studies the stabilization for the unitary groups overpolynomial rings and obtains for them some results analogous to theresults of linear groups and symplectic groups. It is especially provedthat $K_1 U(A) = K_1 U(R)$ where $A = R[X_1, cdots, X_m]$, $R$ is aring of algebraic integers in a quadratic field $Q(sqrt d)$. |
