GENERALIZED TORUS IN $\[{R^3}\]$ WITH PRESCRIBED MEAN CURVATURE |

| Abstract: | Let $H$ be a given function satisfying two conditions on some region $N$ in $\{R^3}\]$. It is proved that there exists a closed surface in $N$ which is homeomorphic to a torus such that its mean curvature is equal to $H$. |
