Abstract: | La0.68Pb0.32FeO3 ceramic powder with orthogonal perovskite phase was prepared using sol–gel method. The formaldehyde-sensing characteristics for the sample were examined between 40 and 360 °C. The experimental results revealed that the sensor based on the sample La0.68Pb0.32FeO3 shows excellent gas-sensing characteristics to formaldehyde gas and the operating temperature is very low. With increasing concentration of formaldehyde, the resistance of the sensor based on the sample La0.68Pb0.32FeO3 increases. The response and recovery times for the sample to formaldehyde gas are about 25 and 20 s, respectively. |
