Abstract: | Conclusions The simple relations obtained make it possible to satisfactorily evaluate large plastic strains (deflections) of uniform and nonuniform beams with fixed ends in the case where the beam is made of a strain-rate-sensitive material and is subjected to static or purely impulsive transverse loads. With allowance for the method in [2], these relations can be used to determine combinations of the parameters P and I of different forms of shock load corresponding to a given level of large plastic strains in beams.Moscow.
