| Abstract: | An approach to investigation of electronic properties of fullerene-filled nanotubes is proposed within the Hubbard model.
It is shown that absorption of nanotubes decreases when they are filled with fullerenes. A prediction is made that the electron
wave packet may be localized on the inhomogeneities induced by the fullerenes inside the nanotubes. |
