Abstract:The liquid membrane method, as a new and highly effective separation technique, has been widely used and investigated in many fields. In this paper, the new liquid membrane system of P204-Blue-113B-liquid paraffin kerosene sulphuric acid and thiourea used to enrich trace lead in water. The best conditions for enrichment and influencing factors were studied. Combined with flame atomic absorption spectrophotometrya recovery of more than 99 percent was obtained Lead in water can be enriched up to 102 fold. According to the experiments liquid membrane enrichment mehtod is very effective and promising in the field of analytical chemistry.
