Abstract: | Addition of phosphines to the coordinatively unsaturated species (Cp)2M2(CO)4 (M = Mo, W) and H2Os3(CO)10 yield a series of products incorporating terminal phosphine along with bridging and capping phosphido ligands formed via insertion into PH bonds. The complexes were characterised by 1H and 31P NMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. |
