| Abstract: | The preliminary design of a moderate (25-50 kW) gyrotron operating at the ISM (industrial, scientific, medical) frequency of 24.1 GHz is presented. Operation at the second harmonic is considered so that one can obtain radiation at the given frequency with only half the magnetic field required. |
