| Abstract: | This note is a response to a paper of Ho that was published in Information and Management Sciences, 20 (2009), 161–171. We find two reasonable criteria to insure the existence and uniqueness of the optimal solution. Based on the same numerical examples, if we directly compare our results with that by Ho, then the improvement is about 30%. Meanwhile, after revising the computation errors, then our analytical approach improves 4%. |
