| Abstract: | New silicon-containing acetylenic alcohols of the thiophene series have been obtained by the reaction of trialkylsilylacetylenylmagnesium bromides with 2-thiophenealdehydes. Their addition to butyl vinyl ether has given the corresponding acetals. |
