An Integrated Inventory Model for a Single Product System

In this paper, an inventory model is given which unifies the inventory problem of raw materials and the finished product for a single product manufacturing system. The product is manufactured in batches and the raw materials are obtained from outside suppliers. The objective is to minimize the total variable costs of the system.
