| Abstract: | The properties of the silent gas discharge in Siemens ozonizers are studied. The charge and potential distributions at the dielectric, the time variation of the current of partial discharges, the statistical distribution of the quantity of charge due to the partial discharges, the space and time dependence of the temperature and the heat sources in the air gap are studied in details. |
