Zeeman splitting of ground and excited acceptor states in ZnTe

Zeeman splittings of Li-acceptor states in ZnTe are investigated by Selective Pair Luminescence. From a detailed study of the polarization dependent absorption and emission of photons by donor-acceptor pairs, the g-values of both ground and excited Li-acceptor states are determined. The method presented here is appropriate to the study of donors as well as acceptors in semiconductors.
