| Abstract: | Weak pairing correlations in aluminum nanograins have been investigated using a symmetrical polynomial method based on the
wave functions projected onto states with a fixed number of electrons. It is shown that this approach does not lead to a sharp
transition from the superconducting to normal state with an increase in temperature, and the intensity of the pairing correlations
exceeds that obtained using traditional BCS theory. |
