Abstract: | The general solution of the thermal problem of convective heat conduction with volume heat dissipation caused by viscous dissipation of kinetic energy of the fluid, whose velocity field is determined by the exact solution /1/ of the Navier-Stokes equations, is considered for a submerged stream. The possible formulation of the heat problem and the characteristic behaviour of the solutions are investigated. The solutions obtained have a special feature, namely the existence, under specified conditions, of two regimes of convective heat exchange. |
