In consequence,parameter determination of visco-elastic-plastic constitutive models of soft clay is improved,the model has been introduced into FEM program from Biot consolidation theory.It is indicated that in strainanalysis to soft clay foundation with rheological characteristicxthe visco-elastic-plastic constitutive model is necessary.The suggested method of modification and analysis in this paper is reasonable;
