| Abstract: | Abstract A Mild and efficient method for preparing amides by reaction of nitriles with benzhydrol and tertiary alcohols is described
using polyvinylpolypyrrolidone-supported boron trifluoride. Selective amidation of benzhydrol in the presence of primary benzyl
alcohols was also achieved. |
