On the sum of two integral squares in the imaginary quadratic field mathbb{Q}left( {sqrt { - 2p} } right)

Abstract:	We determine the sum of two integral squares over imaginary quadratic fields $mathbb{Q}left( {sqrt { - 2p} } right)$ , where p ≡ 1 mod 8 is a prime satisfying 2p = r ² + s ² with r, s ≡ ±3 mod 8.
