Ein neuer Thioharnstoffnachweis

Zusammenfassung Die Reaktion zwischen Kupfersalzen und Thioharnstoff wird zum Nachweis des letzteren benützt und speziell auf die Untersuchung von Kunstharzen angewendet. Ein in manchen Fällen notwendiger Aufschluß des Analysenmaterials wird beschrieben. Die verhältnismäßig hohe Erfassungsgrenze von 10 wird bei der Entscheidung, ob Thioharnstoff als Beimengung oder Verunreinigung vorliegt, ausgewertet.

Summary The reaction between copper salts and thio-urea is used for the detection of the latter, especially for the analysis of synthetic resins. It is necessary, sometimes, to decompose the sample; this decomposition is described. Owing to the fact that the limit of identification is comparatively high (10) it is possible to decide whether thio-urea is present as an admixture or a contamination.

Résumé La réaction des sels de cuivre avec la thio-urée est appliquée à déceler celle-ci et on l'emploie particulièrement à l'examen des résines artificielles. Il faut quelquefois, avant l'analyse, que l'on soumette la matière à une désintégration, qui est décrite. La sensibilité limite de 10 — chiffre relativement élevé — est utilisée pour décider si la thio-urée est présente comme ingrédient ou comme impureté.
