| Abstract: | A new method has been found for the synthesis of pyrazoleacetate esters from pyrazolaldehyde. By a new tandem reaction, in which methyl 4‐pyrazoleacetate was reacted with carbon disulfide and iodomethane, thieno2,3‐c]pyrazole was synthesized.
