| Abstract: | Triphenylphosphine Diphosphonates – New Ligands with Excellent Water‐Solubility A highly selective method for the functionalization of triarylphosphines with phosphonate moieties has been developed. New ligands with excellent solubility in water, such as the previously unknown triphenylphosphine‐diphosphonates PhP3‐C6H4–PO3Na2]2 and PhP4‐C6H4–PO3Na2]2, are accessible by this efficient synthesis route. |
