Abstract: | The Copper(II) Indium Oxide Phosphate CuInOPO4 with α‐Fe2OPO4 Structure, prepared by Oxidation of a Cu/In/P Alloy with Oxygen Green single crystals of CuInOPO4 (orthorhombic, Pnma, a = 774.5(1) pm, b = 661.0(1) pm, c = 730.6(1) pm, Z = 4) were prepared by reaction of Cu/In/P‐alloys with oxygen. The compound is isotypic with α‐Fe2OPO4. The structure contains isolated CuO4/2O2]‐chains running along 010] formed by CuO6‐octahedra which are connected by common edges. The chains are linked by phosphate groups and by InO4O2/2]‐chains along 100] consisting of trans vertex connected InO6‐octahedra. |
