| Abstract: | New oxides with formula A10M29.2O78 (A = Rb, Cs; M = Ta, Nb) have been synthesized. They crystallize in the hexagonal system with cell parameters: a = 7.5 Å, c = 36.4Å. Structural study on powders shows that the framework can be described by hexagonal tungsten bronze and A2M7O18 phases intergrowth. Cationic ion exchange properties of these compounds are shown in aqueous solution. Thus, new hydrated oxides have been prepared. |
