Airphoto Transfer by Means of the Single Radial Rule

The single radial rule described in the paper is composed of the airphoto radial rule, the map radial rule, the base rule and the connecting rod. The transferring method of aerial photograph is based on the fact that the image point displacement is located at the radial line originated From the nadir point (or the equal-angle point)through the image point in question. We can use the single radial rule to substitute for the abovementioned line for' the orientation of both airphoto and map while transferring; at the same time the zonal transference by various coefficients of transfer is performed according to the elevation of image point in order to limit the projection errors and eliminate the tilt oncs in airphotos so that the content of the airphoto interprctation or drawing are able to be transferred on the map accurately.
