Abstract:A multi- nickel substituted arsenotungstate aggregate Ni(H2O)(en)2] 2 Ni(H2O)3(en)] Ni(H2O)(en)] { (α-AsW6O26)Ni6(OH)2(en)2.5(B-a-AsW9O34)]2H4W4O16]Ni4(H2O)2(en)2]2}· 13H2O(1) (en =ethylenediamine) was synthesized under hydrothermal condition in our previous research.Results of structural characterization show that (1) has one dimensional chain structure of 20-core Ni11 substituted { (α-AsW6 O26) Ni6(OH)2 (en)2.5 (B-a-AsW9O34)]2H4W4O16]Ni4(H2O)2(en)2]2}8- units linked via single en bridges.In the present research,the effect of compound (1) on photocatalytic degradation behavior of rhodamineB (RhB) dye under the irradiation of 500 W Hg lamp was investigated.Results indicate that (1) is able to inhibit the photocatalytic degradation of RhB dye to some extent.
