Heterocyclic analogs of pleiadiene 60. Synthesis and properties of 1-methyl-2-chloromethylperimidine

The previously unknown 1-methyl-2-chloromethylperimidine was synthesized. The chlorine atom in it has high lability and is readily exchanged under the influence of S, O, N, and C nucleophiles.
