Generalized lie symmetries and the integrability of generalized Holmes-Rand non-linear oscillator

Abstract:Generalized Lie symmetries and the integrability of generalized Holmes-Rand non-linear oscillator (GHRNO) are considered. The constraint which the variable-coefficient functions must satisfy for the GHRNO to have infinite-dimensional symmetry algebras is derived. The integral of motion for the GHRNO under this condition can be read off from the symmetry vector fields. The structure of the symmetry algebras is also presented.
