Abstract:When two hams become coherent in the bitd-wing mutually-pumped geometry, the simultaneous phase conjugations of two mutually coherent beams are obtained. The influence of two wave-mixing and reflection gratings on the device is presented. The seeded by total internal reflection at the edges of the crystal may be amplified by two-wave mixing and acts as a probe beam of four-wave mixing to create the phase conjugation output.The intensity response time of the phase conjugation signals are shorter in the case. The lower reflectivity in the side of stronger beam is increased. The conjugator can obtain better fidelity when two input beams arc mutually incoherent. Relevant phenomena are also discussed.
